A Taste for Volunteering

Hands On Atlanta is making making volunteering yummy with it's 9th annual A Taste for Volunteering on Friday May 6, 2011 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill from 7:00-11:00pm. The event brings more than 300 metro Atlantans together to celebrate volunteerism and civic engagement. This year's theme, Latin Flavors, celebrates and raises awareness of the city's Hispanic population and expands Hands On Atlanta's partnerships with organizations that directly impact and serve this important community. A Taste for Volunteering will feature live and silent auctions, entertainment, exclusive wine and tequila tastings, gourmet food offerings and a live demonstration by Atlanta-based Chef Hector Santiago, owner of Pura Vida Tapas & Bar and former Top Chef contestant.

Purchase tickets today and enjoy the classica and avante garde cooking techniques with Latin American ingredients and inspirations.
