Cascade UMC hosts drive-thru Nativity | Events
ATLANTA -- Cascade United Methodist Church will host its popular drive-thru Nativity again this holiday season.
Guests can view the Nativity's five distinctive scenes on two different days. Hours include 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8.
In the first scene, the Archangel Gabriel visits Mary to let her know that she has been chosen to bear God's son.
Next, Mary and Joseph take a journey to Bethlehem, only to learn that there is no room at the inn.
In the third scene, an angel appears to shepherds near Bethlehem and tells them to "be not afraid."
The fourth scene shows the Wise Men seeing a shining light in the east.
Finally, Jesus is born in the final scene. Shepherds, Wise Men, angels and townspeople alike rejoice at the birth of their king.
