FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- The Fulton County Office of Workforce Development will host an information session on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Southwest Library located at 3665 Cascade Road.

Participants will receive information regarding workforce service location changes and employment search resources available for use such as:

• Computer, copier, and fax usage for job search purposes
• Money-smart financial training modules (FDIC-approved)
• Mavis Beacon typing software tutorial
• WinWay resume software
• O’Net career exploration software
• Current job notifications in various fields
• On-site recruitment events
• Skills training
• Labor market information

Workforce Development regularly provides counseling and job search assistance for all citizens seeking work.  Job seekers who want to know how to increase their chances of obtaining the first interview or receiving information about making it to the second interview can receive the following services:

•           Career advisement to help set career goals and education requirements
•           Assistance with resume preparation
•           Schedule participation in a job readiness prep workshop
•           Learn appropriate ways to dress to file in-person applications or attend interviews and job fairs
