ADOPT A PET: Meet Manny | Pets
CARROLLTON, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half chewed shoe or overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a "companion" for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
According to the Carroll County Animal Shelter, Manny is an adorable four-month-old Miniature Pinscher puppy. They say he likes to snuggle and that he would be a great lap dog for someone looking for a companion. Manny isn’t crate trained but he is still young so training him will be beneficial to him later in life. Manny can be adopted for $115.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from the Carroll County Humane Society, the adoption fee includes: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here. The Carroll County Humane Society is located at 525 East Montgomery Street in Villa Rica.
